Fleischmann’s Simply Homemade Bread Mix Review

Well, oh my!  What do I say about this unbelievable good Fleishmann’s Simply Homemade Bread Mix?  It’s Good!  It’s REALLY Good!

I love homemade bread and used to make it all time – notice I said “used” to make it?  After 7 kids, jobs, sports, etc., I lost the drive to keep my starter fed and go through all the rise processes.

I’ve experimented with different bread mixes through the years, and I have found a couple that I like – but they still don’t taste like FRESH bread.  You definitely do not have to worry about this not tasting fresh because it is absolutely wonderful and so simple you won’t believe it.  The box say “less than 1 hour” and they aren’t kidding.

The mix includes 3 simple ingredients: The flour, yeast and sugar – that’s it.  You provide the water and you are good go.  I had a few people over and we made variances of the different breads, but the one I will show you is the Stoneground Wheat.

1st Step:  Add yeast and sugar to warm water

2nd Step: Add yeast to flour

3rd Step: Mix, form into a loaf and place on baking sheet.  Cover and let sit for 25 minutes.

4th Step: Place bread in oven, bake, and you have a bea-u-ti-ful loaf of tasty, homemade bread! As you can see, I like for my bread to “look” like homemade bread, so I do not make all the edges smooth and so forth.  You could do that if you preferred.

This probably does not need to be said at this point, but boy did I enjoy making and eating this bread.  Everyone did!  I look forward to creating new recipes all my own now!
