How We Verify Coupons
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Coupon codes change constantly. This page explains exactly how we check the offers on Couponer101 and what each label means.
Where offers come from
We list offers published by the stores themselves: official deals pages, offer terms and conditions, store coupon catalogs and official merchant emails. We do not add codes found only on other coupon sites.
What the labels mean
- Verified [date]: we tested the code at checkout on that date and the discount applied.
- Confirmed [date]: on that date, we found the offer on the store's official website, offer terms or official email. We have not necessarily tested it at checkout.
- Last checked [date]: the most recent time we reviewed the offer, whatever the result.
A label describes the result on the date shown. It is not a guarantee that the code will work for your order.
When a check fails
- If a code no longer works, we remove it from the store page.
- If an offer has ended, we move it to the "Recently expired" list so you can see it is no longer valid.
Expiration dates
When a store publishes an end date, we show it and remove the offer automatically at the end of that day (UTC). Because stores often use US time zones, an offer may disappear from our site a few hours before the store ends it.
Why a listed code might still fail
Many offers have conditions: minimum order amounts, signed-in accounts, specific products, participating locations, one use per customer, or online-only and in-store-only versions. We summarize the main restrictions on each offer, but the store's own terms always apply.
Report a problem
If a code didn't work for you, email contact@couponer101.com with the store, the code and what happened. We'll recheck it.
